HOW TO ADD A NEW TABLE TO SAGE 50 US

I RECENTLY DOWNLOADED THE SAGE 50 SDK WITH THE INTENT OF MAKING SOME MINOR MODIFICATIONS TO THE APP FOR MY CLIENT. 

I CAN FIND NO REFERENCE MATERIAL ON HOW TO ADD THE NEW TABLE.

THE NEW TABLE WILL RECORD LOT NUMBERS WHICH ARE NOT PART OF THE SAGE DB AND UPDATE LOT QUANTITIES WHEN A SALES ORDER IS ENTERED.

CAN ANYONE POINT ME TO DOCUMENTATION ON HOW TO DO THIS?

    Hello Mr. UpperCase,

    You cannot add tables to the Sage 50 database as it is a closed system. It's designed this way for the very good reason of preventing folks from 'boogering up' the referential integrity of the system. No using this approach could result thousands of hours of non-productive support calls for people that played the song, "Ooops, I did it again, I played with your database...I'm not that innocent!"

    You will need to manage any lot-based functionality externally to accomplish the work.
