Difference between Quantity on PO and Quantity on Order- Inventory Reorder Worksheet

Hello,

We're starting to utilize the inventory reorder worksheet report, and we can not figure out what the difference of the column options are for "Quantity on PO" and "Quantity on Order".  The figure seems to be the same, but this has to mean two different things I would assume since it's two different column options?

Thank you,

Hi Nicole, This is a complicated report intended to assist you in knowing all the variables with regard to your inventory and knowing whether you need to order anything. I do not use this particular report because our specialty is to produce custom reports for sage users using XLGL by Logicim. The Inventory Reorder Worksheet includes data like (but not limited to) what you have in stock, what is already on order (Open PO), and what demand you currently have (Open SO). To me it does look like the Quantity on PO & Quantity on Order are one and the same. To see demand (Sales Orders) it is under Sales BOs; a Sales Order becomes a backorder as soon as it is saved. So with those 3 variables, you should have a good handle on what to order or not. If you would like a more customized report, let us know.
