Question about Intelligence Reporting being retired

SOLVED

We have a person that just started learning Sage 50 US Intelligence Reporting recently.  We purchased the connector a month ago but have not installed it because we aren't on the newest software version.  We got the email notice that it is being retired Sept. 2022.  Does anyone know what Sage's plan is after that?

If you use Intelligence Reporting what are your plans?

Thanks

Thanks for the question!  Sage will continue to support Sage Intelligence until October 1, 2022.  After this date, existing users will still have access to their reports, but no further development will happen on the program.  As the notice mentioned, we are recommending user look at an alternate reporting engine, XLGL from Logicim.  They have a custom module built for Sage 50 US that has all the same standard reports included in Sage Intelligence along with the ability to pull data from other sources.  Users of the Canadian version of Sage 50 have been using XLGL for the last year and report high satisfaction.  The biggest difference is that the interface for XLGL is built directly into Excel, as opposed to within Sage 50 itself like Sage Intelligence.  Here's a short video that explains the differences :   Introduction to XLGL for Sage Intelligence Users.  Sage 50 customers will receive discounts on XLGL.  Look for more details coming in the next couple weeks.
