Unable to print 1/2/2015 check date on P/R

We have installed the 20150101 tax update on the server and local machines. We are unable to print payroll checks with Friday's date of 1/2/2015. I'm told this was an issue last year also. Any quick tips from anyone?

Phone support has disconnected twice already for a combined wait time of THREE hours.

    Is your 2015 year open?  If you have years 2013 and 2014 open you'll need to run your year end to close 2013 and open 2015.  You won't be able to process any transactions in 2015 until this is done.

    Swanee, do you have an error when you try to print the transaction dated for 1/2/15?  Anything that could be stating your subscriptions need to be updated or the year you are trying to access isn't opened yet?  If so, try searching for the error on the KnowledgeBase.  You can access it by going to Help, Customer Support and Service, Knowledge Center.  With hold times at their peak right now, this may be a quick and easy step to assist you in resolving your issue without having to call into Support.  Good luck!
