hello, i am helping a client who needs to import her GL from ADP to sage50

I dont know what version of sage she is running but it may be a little bit older.

The ADP was current tho.

THe adp exported the information into excel files

We converted the xls files to csv files

everytime we import it in SAGE we uncheck all the fields and only check the 6 we need (date, reference, G/L, etc.)

We get an error for "amount"  "the amount in line 2 cant be something something"

and it stops the import

we even uncheck the "amount" category so as not to even include it and it still throws up the same message.

we have deleted the Amount column out of the csv and it still throws the same error.

Any experience on a good way to get the GL from ADP into SAGE?
