Payroll forms do NOT align

SOLVED

Unreal that Sage cannot help me move ONE item on my check!  I can deal with all of the other UN-aligned parts of the check, not the AMOUNT of the check!!

It needs to go right, under the preprinted word AMOUNT.

No matter how many times I move it it DOES NOT LINE UP!!

    Since you said "No matter how many times I move it it DOES NOT LINE UP!!" please tell us what you have tried so far. That may help direct you to the right solution. Normally moving the amount on a check is not a difficult process.

    Moving it is not the issue.  Print preview shows it in one spot, so I print to paper, put that on top of the real check (yes, I have to do it EVERY TIME), hold it up to the light to see if it is aligned.  The 'print preview' paper check is NEVER the same alignment as when I print it to a 'real check'.  Hope that helps!!

    The first thing I would do is make sure that the check format you are editing is the same one you are printing. I don't mean to be condescending. I've made that mistake before and it's the simplest explanation for the symptoms you're describing. If that isn't the problem, I would probably try starting over with a new form. Start with one of the standard check formats, (usually "OCR Multi-Purpose AP Laser" is a the best choice for multi-purpose checks) then make whatever changes you need and save it with a new name.

    Not sure what you mean by the check format?  It is a sage check, ordered from them.  The item # has changed they're so old but I was 'assured' they would still work.  I have used all of the available standard forms, customized them etc.  Worked fine until I paid my new subscription.  Weird.  Font sizes changed, alignment off, only on my payroll checks though??  And you're not being condescending!
