When installing payroll tax updates, why do I keep getting the message "Your current tax tables are newer than the version you are attempting to install..."?

This is one of the issues that we have seen with several clients. Go ahead and tell the system to install the Tax Update anyway, even if you receive this message. FYI - A new tax update was released a few days ago, so you may want to install that one vs the original January 2021 Payroll Tax Update. Hello,

There are several reasons why you might receive this message, please refer to KB 26615 for further details. If prompted with any tax update installations please be sure to install the updates to ensure the latest tax files are installed.
