Maintaining Employee files after converting to Sage 50 (US) 2021.1

I updated Sage 50 (US) to 2021.1 and updated payroll as noted by sage on 12/06/20. Now I can not properly run payroll checks. I get ""a managed exception was caught" in maintain employees after converting to 2021.1." It is noted as Solution ID #107509. The instructions state to reload the data back up and then revert to 2020.2 and correct the matter. The problem is I have two weeks of data transactions in other modules that I know I will lose. Has anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this Sage issue without me losing all of the other data???

    This error is caused by a failure during the conversion process. You won't see an error during the conversion; you simply see this error afterwards when attempting to Maintain Employees. Unfortunately, you do need to restore your pre-conversion backup and then address the issue within your data files before converting again (the problem deals with Payroll Fields).
