Fail To Do Year End Wizard

Question

I using the Peach Tree 2009. At the beginning of this year, I want to do "Year End Wizard" close 2014, but at the last step "begin close", the progress is stop and non any respond. After I force close the program and reopen it, some data have problem, it only show the sales order and invoice from Jan-Mar.2015, the rest months are missing, the received payment and inventory are no problem. When I restore and verify the back up data, it's nothing problem, but when I do "Year End Wizard", it's appear the same problem.

You must restore a backup to a NEW Company. Then run a Data Verify from accounting period 1. The Data Verify will display the errors if found and attempt to fix the errors. Try closing again and see if the data is ok after you close. Run a General in Detail for all 24 open periods and see if you get any errors. Also check the data "Look up" under the Lists and make sure you are not missing chunks of data. If you are still having issues with the data after you close you have database corruption and you may need to run some indexes rather than just Data Verify.

You will need to restore your last good backup and start the process again. Do run data verification before starting the close process. Go to period 1, choose both tests and run the backup. If you have data errors, run the process again. If you don't have errors, proceed again to the year end close.

Do not work on the machine or have any other utilities running while you are performing the year end close.
