Sage 50 premium 2020, can i install on two computers with 1 license?

Hi i have a small network at home, and i have single user license of sage 50 premium 2020, can i install sage on the two computers that are networked have one as a server and install on my laptop and just login on either the desktop or laptop with the same user? or do i have to get another license to do this? it is only myself using it but would like to be able to use on my laptop as well when i cam on the network

    Hi Adrian,

    No, you cannot. You need a license for each computer where Sage 50 is installed.  So if you have 2 users or 2 machines where you are installing the program, you will need a 2-user license.  This is in your Sage User License Agreement (See Help tab > About Sage 50) 

    Also just to let you know, If you have anything less than 2020.2, you cannot reactivate the program. Once you try, and your program is anything less than version 2020.2, it will deactivate all licenses for that program.  This is happening because Sage is no longer using the Pervasive Engine to run the software.
