I have seen this issue once before assisting other customers with Sage 50 2023 installs.  Usually this is a permissions issue or a problem with the Sage 50 E-mail Writer specifically, which can't be resolved by simply reinstalling Sage 50.  We have steps for resolving the issues in the knowledgebase article at this link: support.na.sage.com/.../viewdocument.do

Exit out of both programs. Right click on the Icon's for each program and run the programs as an "Administrator".
