You can locate the invoice:

1. by looking at your list of Sales invoices (or Bills)
2. filter it out by Status (Void) under the More action button.
3. Select the invoice
4. Select the Copy button to re-create it.

Thank you Mohamed but we are using Sage 50, not Sage Cloud Accounting so it looks like this process does not work in Sage 50 (or else it works for a void invoice but not a deleted one) - can you confirm 1 or both of these conditions are true?

There is no way to recover the deleted invoice. The Audit Trail report will show that the invoice was deleted, but it doesn't give you the detail needed to recreate it.

If you have a backup, you could restore it and view it.   Sage holds up to 99 companies.

1. Firstly, locate the backup file; if you do not remember your Backup location, you can use the Backup & restore report.
2. Backup & restore report:

It contains the details of your previously taken Backup and restored backup. You can get the date, location, and time of your Backup. Follow the below steps to access the report:

1. Locate File option
2. Hit on Backup & Restore Log
3. Start restoring the deleted Invoice from the Backup:
4. Discover the Backup
5. Now locate the menu bar, and then choose the File option.
6. Select Restore, and then hit on the Next button.
7. Search for the preferred Invoice you have deleted, and then click on the Next option.
8. Hit on the Browse button, then discover and double click on the backup you need to restore
9. Hit on Next, then Finish.
10. If a prompt appears, write the required User Name, Password &processing D
11. Click on the Ok button.
