If your time frame is within your two open years, try the Inventory Unit Activity Report. You can add columns for Sales $ and Cost $.

This is very helpful, and does solve my immediate need. Do you know why we can only look at the open years? In my case, we closed 2020 so I can't look at anything before Jan 2021. Otherwise this is the perfect solution that I will use quite a bit.

I don't know why that report won't let you choose dates in prior years like you can on many other reports. But if you made an archive when you closed the year you can open the archive and run the report from there.

Thank You - I did come up with another solution that is not perfect but can give me what I am after.

The "Items Sold to Customers" report seems like it should be the perfect answer, but it does not let you sort by Item ID. In my case, the Item ID's that I am after are somewhat customer specific so I can go and select those few customers and get my data.

I'm glad you found a solution. Remember that any report can be sent to Excel, from there you can sort and subtotal it however you want. So you may want to try that with the Items Sold To Customers report.
