User Security Setup

Is it possible to setup a A/R & A/P clerk position to have access to Job Profitability Reports WITHOUT having access to payroll fields/access?

  • Yes - Access for Payroll Fields (setup and entry) requires Employee_Payroll access, while Job Reports only requires one section of the Company security area. You can have the entire Employee_Payroll access area set to No Access, and then in the Company area, under Reports, you can Jobs to Full Access.     I did this however the problem now is this role can access the banking account register which allows access to "still payroll information" So now the big question is how do i turn off access to the account register?

    The Bank Account Register has nothing to do with the Job access. That is a completely different User Security Setting area. The Account Register is a Banking Report and not a Job Report. Review your settings in the Banking_General Ledger area of User Security and make sure that your user doesn't have access to Reports there.
