both components and assemblies can be sold but if you just need to know how to convert the components into an assembly, just navigate to TASK | ASSEMBLIES. Select what assembly you want to build and the BOM is right there and will allow you to convert the appropriate components with the predetermined quantities. This will decrement the quantities of components while incrementing the quantity of the assembly.
