Sage 50 Backup Questions

Hello,

I just wanted to confirm if the way we are doing backups is the optimal way to do them. Right now we have a secretary that does backups a few times a week. However she will often at times backup multiple companies at the same time -- is this advisable? Should we be backing up 1 company at a time, and when it finishes, backup the next company?

Also, what would really help eliminate this is if I could get automatic backups to work. We setup a brand new VM with Windows Server 2019, moved over all the data etc, PeachTree seems to work OK over network. I went to setup automatic backups on the server and when I try to run them, they do nothing. A black CMD box pops up for a half a second then vanishes when the task scheduler starts the backups, so nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
