    I am assuming you are running this program on Windows 10.   Sage Peachtree 2010 was not designed to run on the newer windows program.  I would suggest a Sage 50 program upgrade.

    Like Shirley suggested, if you are running W10, you may need to upgrade.  
    Having said that, if a particular Customer or Vendor gets too full, saving more invoices will be slow. If you were to run a test, add a new customer or vendor, then add the invoice to the new customer/vendor. If it's still slow could be a version issue or your file size in Sage is over the Sage Program size limit. we recommend keeping each company between 300-500 megabytes at most, for Quantum up to 2 gigs
