Thanks for your question. Checked in with the Sage 50 US support team who advised that the Aatrix 1099 forms will use the 4-up (blank on the front forms)  while the Sage 50 1099 forms still use the 2-up preprinted forms see KB 72773 for instructions.

You can run the 1099's through the vendor section of the program and still use the old style.   Go to the vendor dashboard.   To the left of vendors,  you will see  1099's

Thank you so much!  And now I understand how we were able to have 2-up 1099's the last 7 years when Aatrix said they've been 4-up for that long: the person that used to print them has retired and this is my first year doing them.  I just assumed they were done through "Tax Forms" like the W-2's but now I'm guessing she was just using this method!  Thank you!

Aatrix is now charging for W-2 and 1099 submissions.

If you use Aatrix, for Vendor 1099's you not only have to import them over, but you have to pay an additional fee to process them.
