Update as of January 19, 2023

The fix for the issue with performance in inventory list views in release 2023 is now available through a Product and Services (P&S) update.

P&S updates download in the background. To verify that this latest P&S update has been installed on your machine please refer to this knowledgebase article.  

Important notes:

• P&S updates are machine specific and must be applied to all machines individually in a network environment.
• Special note for users of Quantum version: In order to install this P&S update the Smartposting service must be disabled in Windows Services Management Console. For information on disabling the Smartposting service please refer to this knowledgebase article.
• To manually download the P&S update, open a Sage 50 company and select Services, Check for Updates, Check Now. Note that since P&S updates normally install without any user interaction you may see the message "There are no updates available at this time." Click OK on the message, then close the Sage 50 application and reopen to install the P&S update.

Our Sage 50 US Development team is currently developing and testing a fix for the issue. We will post another update as soon as the fix is available. 

Post was updated on November 29, 2022 (added a workaround). 

We are currently investigating an issue surrounding extremely large datasets and performance in inventory list views in Sage 50 US release 2023. We encourage any customer that encounters this issue to reach out to our support team so that we can gather more information around this potential issue.

As a workaround, resetting the current column settings and refraining from adding any columns designated with an asterisk (*) will alleviate the issue for the time being. Refer to Section 2 and Section 12 in this knowledgebase article.
