Unlock Custom Sage Intelligence report when user forgot password

User create a new report (not a copy of a Sage template) and locked it. She wants to delete the report now but cannot remember password she used to lock it. Anyone know if there is a Sage or Alchemex utility available the user can use to either unlock the report or delete it?

Hi Lisa,

Once a user set a lock on a Report Template, you will not be able to delete it.

Long time ago, when a user locked his Security Manager and can't remember the password we asked them to send us the 'Alchemex.svd' file. I sent it over to Alchemex and they were able to get the password. But that is for Security Manager, I'm not sure if that file holds the Report Template password as well.

You can call us and create a case, and send a copy of that file. I'll send it to Alchemex and hopefully they can find the password.
