Error on application start. Sage ERP MAS 500.

Hello, One of my users has an application I have not dealt with before. It is installed on 2 computers. It is working fin on one of them and on the other it recently stopped. Any help would be appreciated as I know we do not have support and I am not sure what the next step would be.

Here is the error message upon trying to sign in.

I tried to repair the program and I got this error message:

I also have the details from the error message if that will help.

Is it only 1 machine? What's the operating system or even the Sage 500 version? Details might help but can you actually connect using any applications or ODBC to the SQL Server. Sometimes this message occurs when the exe is stuck in memory so a reboot might help but you need to try an install as a local administrator. You also might be on an unsupported operating system for the version you are trying to install.

We are on version 7.40. I was able to run the repair function after a reboot. However now I'm getting this error on application launch.

Tried restarting/reinstalling and no luck.

That's an older version and a known scenario but since we still don't know anything about your environment why don't you try the suggestions in a previous post referencing the KB article:
