Mas 500 7.4 Registration

SOLVED

I have the database on SQL Server 2008 R2. I'm trying to access our database for historical purposes but it's telling me it is not registered. I've attempted to register manually and it tells me the user must sign out and back in for the changes to take effect but it still tells me it's not registered - any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

When you do the manual registration at the registration site, is it generating a valid registration message after you paste in the registration request and hit submit?

You should see something similar to the following:

If you are seeing a valid registration message, are you sure you are copying the complete message?  As you can see from my screen shot, scroll bars are displayed which indicates part of the message is off the screen.  Missing prt of the Registration message can cause the issue you are seeing.

Yes, I get the whole thing, paste in the text and get the following, but when I log out and back in, I get Mas 500 is not registered or registration has expired message.

Try changing your license type to Test since you are not using this for production anyway.  Also, when you do the manual registration, after submitting the request check the information below on the webpage as it contains the expiration date for your license and verify that it is still valid.

Thank you Lou, Expiration is Unlimited. Once I changed it to test, it still was telling me it was unregistered, I then changed it back to production and entered the Serial Number and now I'm getting a message that says An error occurred retrieving the license Information. review registration log for details. The log tells me the same thing it has been, registration has expired, but now it has all zeros for the MAC Address, original ones where blank. Other thoughts?
