Has anyone created a report showing historical qty-on-hand by item by month (the end of each month)? If so, please share the approach that you used.
The Inventory Valuation Crystal report provides it, but it's not convenient as it must be re-run for each different month that you want to see. A Business Insights report would be better, or a spreadsheet either directly linked to the database or generated by Sage Intelligence which would then allow the user to filter by item/year/month.
The Inventory History BIA report would be exactly what we need except that it only shows data for inventory that had activity during the period.
Using v. 7.70.2 on SQL 2008 R2 with Excel 2013. I have access to SI Report Manager and the Connector module.
