Installation of MAS500 ERP 2018 on Windows 11

SOLVED

After installing the client on Windows 11, we receive an ODBC error stating that the client doesn't match the server version of the ODBC.  Has anyone else faced this issue?  And how did you handle it?  I am not sure I want to put SQL Server Express 2017 on a Windows 11.

I have not seen this issue. Could you post a screen shot showing the error and any screens displayed related to Sage 500 behind the error, and I can look around for any details related to this. Sage 500 2018 has not been tested in house with Windows 11 and is not currently supported in that combination. I will take a look at your specific error and see if I can offer some suggestions that may help.

I have resolved the issue.  The issue occurred because the 2018 client installation for Product Update 8 does not install MS SQL Server 2012 Native Client and MS OLE DB Driver for SQL Server.  After installing both of these onto the client, the application appears to work fine on Windows 11.

    Thanks,
