How are comments stored in MAS500?  I am trying to added Sales Order Header comments to to Packing List and can not find the table that holds these comments.

 

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

  • Are these free-form comments or comment codes?  They are stored in the same tables, but would be referenced differently.

  • The short header comment (50 characters) that you type in on the Enter Sales order form is saved to tsoSalesOrder.  The extended comments that can be entered by selecting the Comment button are saved to the table tciExtCmntUsed and tciExtCmntUsedDetl depending if you are using a pre-defined comment or a freeform comment.  The DocOwnerKey in tciExtCmntUsed is the SOKey related to your sales order.  The schema browser has more information on these tables.
