Pending Shipments & Exp. Shipment Date

Hi,

One of my customer CRM instance is having issues with pending shipments list (Open CRM Company -> O/E Enquiry -> Pending Shipments -> Order drill down) where it is not showing the records in "Pending Shipment Details" list. When I checked the ERP OE entry, there was no Exp. Ship Date for the order item. Once I saved a date value in Exp. Ship Date, CRM listed the item in Pending Shipments.

In the previous version, item level Exp. Ship Date was saved automatically with current date while converting a Quote to Order. This is not happening now in the new version if the Quote Exp. Ship Date (header) is blank/null while saving new quote. Is this a bug or by design?

I found a workaround so that Pending Shipments list will be fine.

  • While creating a new quote, don’t remove Exp. Ship Date value and save it.
  • Edit the quote and remove the Exp. Ship Date value if not required.
  • Follow all other steps as usual in Quote and Orders
