ODBC Driver for Excel with xlsx files

Using Sage 2021, seems the ODBC driver for excel only support .xls files. When attempting to connect to a .xlsx, get SqlState error S1000 that the table is not in the expected format

Any way to use the driver with xlsx?

This is not a Sage problem, its ODBC driver is SQL.

Thanks Jay, is there a way around it? From the Connector perspective, looks like Sage hasn't updated to ODBC driver in a long time. I did try File/USER DSN, which works but has limitation that it uses a drive letter not UNC. Unfortunately, in my environment I can't edit the registry to try and put in a UNC in the registry key. Without UNC can't reliably schedule a report or have someone else do it.

Sorry, I don't have any ideas. I haven't use Excel ODBC in 20 years, it's never been necessary in my Sage integrations.
