F/S by department

Hi there,

What FR function should I use in order to create a report showing department side by side? Also, is there a way to combine two departments?

Thanks,

Zia

Use a function like FRAMTA with a selection criteria in the third parameter to select the department. Eg, have: =FRAMTA("NETYTD","","(ACSEGVAL02 = ""100"")") in one column and =FRAMTA("NETYTD","","(ACSEGVAL02 = ""200"")") in the next column. You will need to use the appropriate ACSEGVAL for your department. You can add departments with normal Excel formulas like: =F14+G14.

Another alternative is to use FRS which has a sample side-by-side departmental report you can use. See: http://www.dingosoft.co/frs.html
