The correct subreport link is OE item to ICITEM.FMTITEMNO

Suggestion removed - sorry didn't read properly.  Assumed a screen customisation rather than report.

Not terribly difficult:
This would need to be done as a sub-report using the OEINV01.rpt as a starting point.  In the sub-report, you'll need two tables: ICITEM and ICSEGV.  Here's the key - the ICSEGV table should be added three times.  When you do, Crystal will want to confirm that you've already added and indicates that you'll need add as an alias.  Once confirmed, Crystal will add the second instance of ICSEGV as ICSEGV_1.  Once you've added the ICSEGV three times, you can right-click on each instance and change the name.  I'd suggest something like ICSEGV_COLOUR, ICSEGV_SIZE, ICSEGV_STYLE.  Each instance of ICSEGV should be linked based on the segment in the ICITEM table.

In the detail section of the sub-report, you can create a formula for each segment, something like: If NOT IS NULL(ICSEGV_STYLE) Then ICSEGVAL_DESC ELSE ""

Next, add a group on ITEM and for each of the formulae, right-click and select SUM, MAX

I got it to work without sub report:

I used Jay's suggestion to link OEPRN3.ITEM to ICITEM.FMTITEMNO

I used 13381622's suggestion to add ICSEGV twice and rename them as Style and Colour, linked my ITEM Segment1 to Style SEGVAL, and Item Segment2 to Colour SEGVAL.

I then simply put DESC from each into the report where I needed it and it worked.

You need to customize OEINV04, not OEINV01, and remove the DATAPIPE lines in OERPT.INI, or else you will always get the popup.  

Jay - if he does a subreport instead of direct links, doesn't that also get rid of the password pop-up?  

Yes, it would.  But he should not be using those stupid datapipe forms in the first place, I wish they had never been used in OE and PO.  It's better to get in the habit if starting with OEINV04, because a year from now, you're going to want to add a table to the main report, and you can't do it.

You’re right.  We still encounter old forms with a lot of customization so sometimes it’s easier to tweak that.  But in the long run it’s best to get everyone off the datapipe
