Recently upgraded to 2014 300 Advanced

Version 6.0 functionality for exporting a previewed report to Excel included a dialog box where column sizing could be based on header, details, or other choices.  That dialog no longer appears and the exported Excel file is merged cells and wrapped text making it impossible to work with.

Read somewhere else that this is the result of Crystal changes...

1) Is it in fact the result of Crystal changes?

2) If so, is there a fix for it?

3) If no fix, can the underlying Crystal install be stepped back to the previous version that allowed for the choices?

Or is this another case of upgrading to lose functionality?
