Is anyone aware of a utility that will migrate the data?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.
Are you an end user or a BP?
BP
Thanks Jay.
You need to register for the Sage ERP Migration training at Sage University, complete the training and then pass the exam. Once that is complete they will send you a download link for the software.
Or get someone else to do the migration - I've done about 50 Sage Pro migrations.
they actually have a course and exam on migrating the data? I must be missing something then. I've done a dozen or two using export and imports and I still have the templates I setup for all the modules. Does this migration bring over history?
I have the text on the link Jay sent me, what is so unique on this migration since it is only GL, AR and AP?
That is an old link, it does GL, AP, AR, IC, OE & PO.
The course and exam is for the Sage ERP Migration utility specifically. The SEM utility gives you the convenience of migrating data without having to export/transform/import the data. It cuts out the tedium if you have a bunch of migrations to do.
I've done about 25 Sage Pro migrations without using the SEM utility, using export/transform/import - nothing stops you from keep doing that.
Define history?
GL brings over up to 7 years of transaction history. AP and AR brings over open transactions. IC brings over qty on hand and total cost. OE and PO brings over open orders.
SEM does not migrate payroll and job cost - these you do with the usual export/import routines.
Good points. That is exactly what I'm looking for. It appears to be worth taking that course.
History as I define it would have been AR, AP, OE, PO, IC and GL detail which I'm not looking for. The GL transactions history is good, all open documents for AR, AP and IC quantities and cost is also good.
I looked for the course with no luck finding it. Can you tell me under what product the course is listed?.
Sage ERP Migrator Certification
We provide fixed cost migration services if someone is interested in complete history
