Sage 300 API Question [On Premise]

Hello,

We are using Sage 300 (version 2020) on premise with a perpetual concurrent user license using the desktop screens exclusively. We have a 3rd party CRM solution that we would like to integrate with Sage. I am by no means familiar with SAGE development, and I am asking this question here because I wish to double check my source of information (they claim SAGE lacks APIs in general, but a quick Google search shows contradicting information). I would like to ask if its possible to integrate 3rd party web apps with our existing setup.

If not, then I would like to learn more about the technical requirements of using SAGE's APIs. Does API usage rely on web screens? Or a different version of SAGE 300?
