partial disposal of fixed asset

I have recently started using norming assets on sage 300. I attempted to enter a partial disposal of an asset, but although the option appears to be available in the A/M Disposal Entry Screen i.e. it is not grey. I am unable to tick this box. Can anyone explain why?

To do partial disposal, you need to add at least two units to the Asset Master in the Asset Register screen. Then in the above screen, the 'Partial Disposal' option will be enabled and you can select a…

To do partial disposal, you need to add at least two units to the Asset Master in the Asset Register screen. Then in the above screen, the 'Partial Disposal' option will be enabled and you can select a unit to dispose.
