Manufacturing Orders???  What module are you using? 

The manufacturing module within Sage 300 manages manufacturing orders which capture direct labor hours that are applied to labor and overhead rates that carry to the GL.

I do not have AutoSimply. Every manufacturing order copies the bill of material master and multiplies direct labor hours by the labor and overhead rates. There are no scanners. Labor and overhead is captured when the MO is backflushed or closed. Applied labor and overhead rates are periodically updated, however, the applied labor and overhead still reflects the old rates rather than the new. I am trying to determine why Sage 300 still carries over the old labor and overhead rates instead the new rates.

Sage 300 does NOT have a manufacturing module.  Are you using MISys?  Or maybe Sage 300 CRE?

I am not using Sage 300 CRE (Timberline).  It may, however, by MISys although I do not see any reference to 'MISys' anywhere within Sage. The MISys website describes the software I use well. Assuming I am using MISys, can you provide a suggestion to my applied labor and overhead rates?

You must be on an older version of Sage 300 (Accpac).  Maybe 2012 or earlier.

MISys runs separately outside of Sage 300 nowadays but still integrates.

If I were you I would tend to contact MISys tech support.  Last I knew email support was no charge
