Import doesn't create new batches.  If you want to do that you need an integration tool like Realisable IMan (perfect for this sort of thing) or write a macro, etc.

Having said that, why in separate batches?  Why not separate entries within the same batch?

i need to import as new batch because it's history data for 5 years and our auditors want to review with it's old  batch number. each journal in new batch.

by the way if i import all Journals for each year in one batch, what is the maximum number of JE per batch?

Then for manual import you will need to create a separate import for each batch.

It looks like the maximum journal entries per batch is 99999.  This is based on the data field, but I suppose there could be other limits somewhere that affect the upper value.
