Upgrade from 6.2 to 6.8 - Data activation error - G/L Tax

Data activation gets stuck at 3% when upgrading - The DB verification log shows fields related to tax services. Any idea on how to overcome this issue? much appreciated

Looking at the AOM, those fields came in with 2021/68. I would upgrade to 2020 and then go to 2021. If that fails, you're probably going to need to go through each version.

Think it actually came in a patch, between 2020 and 2021 seems right.

Really? I thought patches only provided view bug fixes and not schema changes?

Generally fixes, but some have changes (seems to be on even number patches). It was Product update 2 of 2020 that added ability to do Tax amounts in GL Entries. Which caused GL tables to grow. Watch your database size if you use a lot of multi-line GL Entries.

Generally fixes, but some have changes (seems to be on even number patches). It was Product update 2 of 2020 that added ability to do Tax amounts in GL Entries. Which caused GL tables to grow. Watch your database size if you use a lot of multi-line GL Entries.
