You have too much data in GLAFS, you need to delete some.

If you navigate to G/L Settings, Options, select the posting tab, you'll see fields at the bottom specifying the number of Years of Fiscal Sets and Years of Trans. Detail.  There is a limitation of (I believe) 7 years for Advanced - it would seem that you have more than 7 years of Fiscal Sets in your data.  The easy(ish) answer is to backup your data and clear the required fiscal sets so that you have 7 or less years.  This is done from Periodic Processing, Period End Maintenance

Its ironic in sage 6.0 the max allowed fiscal set was 15 yrs that one could set and now in sage 300 2018 advanced it allows max to be set as 7 years only... 

It simply means you can't run comparative financials that far back.  

To add to everybody's answer, Ideally you have a backup from however many years back and you can setup a new company that could be for accessing data from before 2012.

There is no simple answer to this, you might have third party modules.  Start by installing the latest version and simply activating directly from 6.0.  The system will let you.

Could you install Sage Premium with a trial licence, upgrade the data,  Then uninstall Sage Premium and reinstall Advanced.  That way the data all converts and then with SQL you can report on it.  Just a thought?
