User Creation Date and License Type Fields in Sage 300 2014 Database

Hello,

I was hoping someone might be able to assist me. I am trying to create a report using the Sage 300 2014 database. I need to see the date that a user was created in the system and also need to know what type of license the user is assigned to. For example: Sage 300, Sage Intelligence Report Manager, Sage Intelligence Report Viewer. I have looked in the Application Object Module but have not been successful in finding these fields.

Would someone happen to know the name of the fields and in what table they are located?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's not possible, they're not stored in SQL.

You can export from the Users screen to Excel - that gives you the create date. I think you can click File, Print on the Users screen, not 100% sure though.
Anyway this does not give you Sage Intelligence details, for that you need to look at the Sage Intelligence License Manager.

I was thinking that might be the case since I did not see any fields in the schema. Have you heard of a 3rd party software called, Audit Logger? Do you think this might be able to help me get the information that I need?

Audit logger will do most of it, but it won't go back in history, it only gives you stats going forward.

That's exactly what I thought. Thank you. I'm surprised that Sage 300 does not have these fields available. I think that it might be a good enhancement request.

They're not available because the legacy of the architecture. Last century (I love saying that), it ran on Pervasive, SQL, Oracle, and DB2, and it wasn't practical to this into all of the databases. Those are the ISM files you see in SITE and USER. If my memory serves, this architecture was in turn built from the DOS product Accpac Plus.
