CRM & Sage 300 integration stops working for no reason (reboot to get it to work again)

cCRM V7.3 / S300 V2014 / SQL 2008 R2 / Win 2008 R2

A couple of times a month the integration between CRM & Sage 300 stops working.

We get the message (session could not be opened) with number (2147221230)

I have checked the services and IIS and all looks good

We have had to reboot the server to get it to work again.

However I have discovered that if I run S300 ComSpy, the integration works while I have that running - as soon as I stop ComSpy the integrations stops again.

I have tried to figure out what ComSpy is doing to make it work so that I an see what has stopped working and figure out why.

Has anybody else had this problem or know of how I can find out what the problem is and fix it, as we can not keep on rebooting the server every time this happens.

    For Sage CRM to integrate with Sage 300, we reply on two important services: Sage 300 ERP .Net Remoting and Sage 300 ERP Tomcat service. I think comspy is establish the connection to Sage 300 which make it work. I would suggest to restart one of the service to see which one is causing problem next time so you identify which one is at fault and go from there.

    It happened again:
    I stopped and started the services for both S300 ERP Tomcat & S300 ERP .NET (as suggested above).
    This did not help
    I then restarted IIS - but this did not help either
    - In the end I had to restart the server again.
    Has anybody got any ideas what could be happening
