If you use a Transit Transfer then you can process the transfer as a two-step transaction. Location A => In-Transit Location => Location B.

Otherwise you can export the one-step transfer that sent the goods to In Transit and with a little manipulation, import it back in as a new transfer to move the items from In Transit to the final location.

Or a macro/screen customization can make this easier.

I'm assuming you mean take it from a PO receipt into an IC Transfer because you said "RECEIPT".  I'm also assuming you are doing this because you receive them ahead of time so your accounting pays for them and only knows how to pay a full receipt?

We leave ours as a FUTURE PO and issue a pre-payment on the PO.  We activate them when they are about 2 weeks from port to provide visibility.  Leaving as a future PO allows us to still see anything that may have fallen below MIN levels.  I personally feel that receiving the whole thing ahead of time is just asking for trouble.  someone will eventually screw up and forget to transfer.
