Sage 300 GL batch posting freezes

SQL 2019 on Windows Server 2019

GL batch posting freezes during month end closing periods and Sage 300 becomes inaccessible for anyone who wants to further login. Other logged in users won't be able to post from GL batch list window when it happens. This only happens to one of the company and rest of them no issue. Database recovery model is Simple and indexing are done weekly. 

During the issue, activity monitor reports locks for that company database.

 Server hardware is 40 cores 128GB memory SSD, Sage is on VM with 20 cores 72GB assigned.
