Sage supplies sample templates.  
In your Sage 300 Data folder, you should find a folder called Import Templates.  Look there

Also, if you don't see an Import function, either you do not have security permissions to import or the screen you are on doesn't allow import.

I am the administrator, so I should have the security needed.  But do you know that importing invoices into AP is a supported function?  I cannot find guidance on the online help manual.  Thanks for your reply.

I think I was able to trigger the import option - now just looking for an excel template

ok, not sure how I got off on the wrong path yesterday, but I was able to export a batch as a starting point.  But, now I need to determine the "required" fields.

It's a folder call "ImportTemplates", it's with SITE, COMPANY, and USER.

Thx - that helped.  I had to solicit the help of our IT staff to get to this folder.  For security, we don't let just anyone have access to the network files including myself.

It's a folder under the Sage "Shared" folder.

It depends on the version you are on - the early ones do not have this.  I have V2020 that has this folder.  Send me an email to [email protected] and i will send you the V2020 import templates that should work on the prior releases as well.
