Is there a report that can be run that gives you usage statistics for items in assemblies, kind of like I/C Sales Statistics.

Nope, you'll have to roll your own. You can get shipped BOM data from OESHIDB.

I built mine from ICHIST so that our usage can show sales history, IC Assemblies as well as Internal Usages
