Looking Import specifications for a new MRP software.

We currently use Sage 300 ERP for financials. Our MRP (Seradex OrderStream) will export daily AR/AP information and we import it into Sage via the appropriate forms Import.

Our China facility is also using Sage 300 ERP for financials but they currently do not have an MRP system.

They have found an MRP system they like (XyERPTech) but it does not export to Sage, only to KingDee. The Chinese MRP developers are willing to create an export to Sage but need the requirements/specifications.

What (or where) are the requirements/specifications to import accounting information into Sage.

It is what you want it to be....
Export the relevant transactions (click File, Export) from the transaction entry screens to get the file layout.
But to be honest that is the worst option for integration with other systems. Better options are writing a VBA macro to import transactions or using an integration manager like www.realisable.co.uk/.../
