Accpac 5.5a

Hi, we currently are using AccPac 5.5a version and we would like to see what options we have to move to newer versions. We run a small business and AccPac 5.5a is perfect for us but do realize its time to upgrade. Currently our systems run on Windows 7 and Windows 2003 Server, so we need to find a way to upgrade the software along with our systems to Win10 and Server 2019 if possible. Get into a contract with a Sage consultant. Upgrading from 5.5 is not something you can do yourself. You'll have to buy a new copy of Sage, too, there's no "auto-upgrade" from that old version.

Hi Chris, I have done several upgrades from old versions (been Accpac consultant for over 20 years). upgrading from v5.5 will be a big task as you need to go through several version fist - there is no direct upgrade.

What i do is do the upgrades on my VM servers until it is at the version you require, which we then load into your new installed version on your servers.

Not sure where you are based, but i am in the UK, but have clients in different parts of the world.
