My customer is replacing their server which is running Sage 300 relatively current version with MS SQL 2014.  As long as we are moving we want to upgrade to MS SQL 2019.  The customer purchased MS SQL CALs on subscription from Sage with the original purchase and is current on support.

I assume that I need license codes to install 2019, however Sage has informed us that they do not provide them.  My MS software provider thinks that they will definitely be necessary.

Anyone know how do get them?  Can we just install 2019 over the top of 2014 without additional credentials for the CALs?
