Sage 300 2017 - Unicode Support?

Hello,

Client has a need to bring their Sage 300 environment from Asia (China/Hong Kong) to their North American data center and would prefer to be able to have both English and Chinese characters supported on one Sage application server environment, does any one know if Sage 300 was converted to Unicode?

Unicode is irrelevant for this. Sage uses Language overlay files, so each user needs to be logged into Windows (or a remote session) with the proper Windows language and keyboard settings.

Hi,

Yes, I realize that Sage uses the language overlay files but was referring to the language settings on the server itself. So you mean so long as the users profile language settings is set appropriately in Windows there shouldn't be an issue?
