Sage 300 2023 License Manager and Version 8.8

We have updated our licensing version for Sage 300 Subscription customers. In the License Manager you will now see Version 8.8 for most modules and 8.0 or 7.3 for Payroll. In March 2024, Payroll will be exclusively 8.0. This simplifies your upgrade process by not having to update your Subscription licenses for every new release.

You can find out what version of Sage 300 you are using from the Help menu. Choose About Sage 300, and then click on System Info.

  • I'm testing our upgrade from 2022 to 2023 (6.9 to 7.0) and I see our Activation codes are all for version 88. And those codes do not work if I am trying to activate the 7.0 software. We've had continual problems with the Entitlements.xml file on our monthly renewal day (saying no licence), with the simple solution being to delete that file and run on our Activated licence files instead. So... can I still get 7.0 activation codes?
