Error message while migrating from 2017 premium to 2021 premium

During the migration process, the following error appears.

Parallel Migration Wizard - InstallShield Wizard

Error execute: Select ServerProperty('ProductVersion') As Product Version. After clicking on the OK button. This error appears: SQL Server version are not compatible, Migration Wizard cannot continue.

Check to ensure that the new version of SQL is at least the same version / patch level as the source system.

The migration tool uses backup and recovery functions, and SQL can only restore backups from the same version (or lower).
