Thank you all for the guidelines. I probably would try to install the product update 8 first and see it from there. I was hoping to do away with involving our reseller/Sage Partner as our contract with them is done. BTW, I have a current license with Sage and I was able to get the PU 8 installer from support.
Since I plan to do it on a different server, paraller migration wont do any harm to the old server, will it? - that I can revert back to my old server, in case...
